About us
Gerald and Adriana Burger opened their clock-shop Uhren-Bazar Big Ben in Triberg at the beginning of the seventies, which they runned till 1992.
They have been the founders of the CCC-Club (Cuckoo Collectors Club), which consisted of carvers, carpenters and clockmakers, who produced exclusive cuckoo-clocks.
The competition felt disadvantaged and their last expedient was to buy up the flourishing business.
Daughter Kim Burger wanted to do something else.
CCC felt apart.
Fatefully Kim met the woodcarver Oliver Zinapold and they opened 1999 a new business. There they produce and sell high quality cuckoo-clocks and carvings till today with other carvers, carpenters and clockmakers in a new founded club MCC (Master Carvers Club).
Oliver Zinapold started with 16 an apprenticeship as woodcarver and made his examination after 3 years.
He worked around 8 years in this profession and went then on the master-school in Freiburg. There he did the final examination to a woodcarving-master, who is allowed to open his own carving-business and also to teach younger carvers.
